Composite pipes

Since the beginning in 1972, Hurum Plastindustri has been a leading supplier of composite pipes to the landbased industry, as well as the offshore industry, which began in the 1990s.

Thermoplastics

Throughout the years we have secured a solid foundation for working with thermoplastics. This is rooted in having done a lot of different jobs in both Norway and abroad.

Coating of tanks

Need some help with tanks in new facilities? Or perhaps the old tanks need some maintenance? We have long experience with renovation, sandblasting and coating of tanks and vessels.

Constructions in composite

In need of a replacement of single parts or entire pipelines? We both manufacture and finalize constructions in composite.

About us

AS Hurum Plastindustri is a continuation of Olaf Robert Plast factory that was established by Rolf Otto Bjørgen in 1972. Today the company is a stock based company, 100% owned by Bjørgen family through Bjørgen Holding AS. The company also owns the factory facilities on Sætre and in Sarpsborg.

Documentation

AS Hurum Plastindustri uses a highly systematic HSE- and quality system. We hold certification within ISO:9001:2015, NS-EN ISO 45001:2018, Achilles, StartBank and Miljøfyrtårn. In addition to this, we are also an approved training company.
